Hello lovely readers!!

Today I’m going to ask you to do me a favor,that hopefully you’ll enjoy doing.

Recommend me books!!

Since my exams are going on *rolls eyes* I have not been reading much,actually not at all.

*dramatic music*

But but..My birthday is on 21st of July and I’ll buy books from the money I get (duh) and then I’ll go on a reading spree after the end of my exams.

I do have a long list of TBR books but they mostly include YA Contemporary and that is not what I’m looking for at present.

So what am I looking for?

Fantasy with swoon worthy romance.
Science fiction.
Re-tellings
Paranormal romance.

Please don’t recommend any dystopian novel,I’m a little sick of those.

So if you happen to know any great books in the genres I mentioned then please do tell me below,I could use some help.
If I like what you recommend I’m definitely going to buy that and then do a birthday haul post to show you what all I got on your recommendation.

  2. Can’t think of any novels that you already haven’t heard of when it comes the genres you mentioned. (It’s always them hyped books) But I am reading Age Of Myth by Michael J. Sullivan right now (It just released a few days ago) It’s an epic/high fantasy novel so if you’re interested in that DO try it. I’ll be reviewing it soon

  4. If you’re in the mood for fantasy+sci-fi and an engaging, thought-provoking plot, I’d recommend Hard to Be a God by the Brothers Strugatsky=)

  7. Planetfall by Emma Newman is an amazing science fiction read, as is Children of Time by Adrian Tchaikovsky – and if you want something quirky and off the wall, try E.M. Foner’s Date Night at Union Station – I think that one is actually free on Kindle:). I’ve reviewed them all. And if you would like to get your teeth into a classic series that covers a whole range of genres, then Lois McMaster Bujold’s Miles Vorkosigan series is one of my must-reads, as is C.J. Cherryh’s duology Cloud’s Rider and Rider at the Gate- I’ll stop now. Sorry… got a bit carried away! Have a lovely summer reading:))

  8. Carry On by Rainbow Rowell is absolutely amazing! I’d consider it fantasy, and there’s an awesome LGBTQ romance in it! It’ll make a bit more sense if you’ve read Fangirl, but that’s contemporary. I’ve also just reviewed Fangirl, and I’ll be reviewing Carry On soon on my blog. If you read them, I’d love to know what you think! 🙂
