15 Bookish facts about me

I’m so tired.(I’m always tired for no reason)

I wanted to write a review about this really deep and change-the-way-you-look-at-things book I read recently but due to my laziness it has been put aside for a while.

Instead,I decided to just make a list because they always work.

Here’s a list of bookish facts about me :

  • I have not read The Mortal Instruments series yet.I can sense the frowns on your faces but yes,I made the mistake of watching the movie first and oh dear god!WHAT WAS THAT?

  • I hate Wuthering Heights.(Sorry If you like it)

  • I love collecting bookmarks but I rarely use them.

  • I get these random urges to either touch and pat my books or to smell them.People think I’m crazy.

  • The book that got me into reading was Alice in wonderland by Lewis Carol.

  • I live in India but I don’t read books of Indian Authors.

  • I cancel actual plans to read.

  • I read random passages from my favorite books time to time.

  • I have spoiled myself by actually googling what happens next in the book series.

  • I love Draco Malfoy.

  • My dream is to become so rich that I own a house with a giant room dedicated just to books where no one can enter without my permission.

  • I sometimes don’t do anything except read mainly to avoid making decisions and dealing with work.

      1. If you are into fantasy and present books, you can try Amish Tripathi’s books. I think you’ll love Immortals of Meluha, and it is soon going to be made into a movie, give it a try. If you like reading some old author’s stuff, I’d recommend Arundathi roy. There is also a detective series by Madhumitha bhattachary, known as Reema ray mystery series, it’s really popular and makes a great read. Hope you give it a tryπŸ˜„
Mostly what happens is, the publicity and media attention of Indian authors isn’t as high as they deserve to be and if they do get it, it ends up in people only remembering Chetan bhagat, which really is a pity. Coz there are so many well written books by other Indian authors.

  1. This was so fun to read, and I relate to so many of them as well: I don’t like “Wuthering Heights” either. I definitely love to pat my books. I like to hug them too! Bookish fact about me: I will not leave my house without my Nook e-reader. It doesn’t matter where I’m going or why. It could be a wedding or grocery shopping – you can bet I have my Nook on my person. πŸ™‚

  2. Once I get really into a book, it’s impossible for me to put it down. My favorite books are memoirs because it gives me glimpses into the lives of people so different from me. Through those books, I am able to travel to places I’ve never been, and I get to know people I’ve never meet!

  3. I haven’t read The Mortal Instruments either! Well, I read City of Bones, but I have no desire to continue the series any time soon haha. I think I’m one of the few people in the world who thought the movie was actually better than the book πŸ˜… Alice in Wonderland is one of my favourites β™₯
