Halloween Readathon

This was created by Lauren@WonderlessReviews,so if you are interested in joining check out the original post for the details here.

So Where I live,Halloween is not celebrated.I’m sure half the people don’t even know what Halloween is.

But I LOVE Halloween. It’s such a fun festival! I love creepy things.(but I get scared too easily anyway)

However, here is my TBR!! (These gorgeous banners are made by Lauren herself)

costume-party

🕸 Pretty self explanatory. There’s no “guidelines” if you think a cover is creepy for whatever reason then it counts!

See,I was not creeped out of the cover until I saw that there were people on that fricking cliff. It made my skin shiver honestly.I cant wait to read this.BWAHAHA(okay, lame)

haunted-house

🕸 By Supernatural or Paranormal I mean books that feature things such as: ghosts, vampires, witches, werewolves ect.

Shameful confession time:I HAVE NOT READ THE PERCY JACKSON SERIES.

But at least I found a reason to read it now.

urban-legends

🕸 In my opinion people are scarier than monsters so for Horror or Thriller this means a book where real people are the ones who are causing all the scariness.

 It’s a thriller and it’s AGATHA CHRISTIE.So yeahhh.

witching-hour

🕸 Again, pretty self explanatory. Fun fact: the witching hour is 3am-4am, but obviously I’m not going to force you all to read at that time 😅. Unless you’re like me and have insomnia. So just read a book after the sun has set! This doesn’t have to be done in one night! You can read a book at night for the duration of the read-a-thon.

Guys, this book sounds so creepy! It follows a girl who wakes up in a coffin in  a weird place with a bunch of strangers…I’m so excited to read this at night.BWAHAHA (I did it again)

trick-or-treat

🕸 There’s two options for this challenge. You can choose TRICK and read a scary book you’ve been putting off OR you can choose TREAT and read any book you want from ANY genre (not just horrors ect.)

I choose Treat!

All I know about this book is that it’s set in WW2 and it follows Hitler’s niece who befriends a jew reporter.IT SOUNDS SO GOOD!

all-hallows-eve

🕸 Read six books! Your sixth book can be any scary book you want. Only do this if you want! I know how it is to feel intimidated by read-a-thons so I really wanted to try and make this as relaxing as possible. There’s probably no way I’m going to be able to do this, but it’s fun to try!

ummm.I’m not even sure if I’ll be able to read all the books listed above much less 6 books! So I’m leaving this empty right now if I read all those books and I still got time,I’ll add another book.

That was my TBR.

Thanks to Lauren for hosting this spooky Read-A-Thon!

So,will you be joining the Read-A-Thon? What are you planning to read this october? Let me known below!

Yours truly,

Anushka.

I haven’t finished the Percy Jackson series either so you’re not alone there! I am on book three though so I’m getting there. 😀

  4. Love this post! I am really tempted to do this Read-a-thon now 🙂 And you are not alone, I haven’t read the Percy Jackson series either and everyone is telling me to read it! I actually read Alive last month. It has a weird, creepy vibe to it and it was kind of similar to maze runner but it takes a different direction. Can’t wait to hear what you think of it!

  5. Glad you’re participating in the Readathon! Nice TBR, by the way. I haven’t read Percy Jackson either, but I want to and I will. Someday. I own Prisoner of Night and Fog… I just received it through a blogger book swap in September. Can’t wait to finally read it! I’ll be looking for your review of it. Anxious to see how you like it! 😊

  6. Don’t feel alone: I haven’t read any of the Percy Jackson series either! I have read The Red Pyramid and The Sword of Summer, also by Riordan, and they were awesome! I’ve GOT to read Agatha Christie’s stuff; I’ve never laid eyes on her stories! Happy haunted reading and good luck! 😀
